Instant, readable character sheets for throwaway NPCs. Paste your generator's output and get a clean, tabbed sheet — stats, spells, inventory, and DM notes ready at the table.
Everything here is AI-generated: a Gemini gem produces the characters, and the instructions are heavily optimised to keep it grounded in the rules — but it can still hallucinate the occasional spell slot or feat. Give the sheet a quick sanity check before it hits the table.
I built this because I seldom have time to hand-craft throwaway NPCs for one-shots I play in. This gets a usable, presentable character in front of me in minutes instead of an evening.
Why the Gem Setup?
The characters come from a custom Gemini gem whose name, description, and instructions live on this site. The Gem Setup page walks you through creating that gem (including the SRD knowledge file) with copy-paste fields, so the generator behaves consistently instead of freelancing every session.

Create your character-generator gem on gemini.google.com, then copy each field below into the matching input.
How to create a Gem
- Go to gemini.google.com and sign in with your Google account.
- In the left sidebar, open the Gems section (Gem manager) and click New Gem / Create a Gem.
- Fill in Name, Description, and Instructions — copy each one from the fields below.
- Under Knowledge, upload the
DND5e_SRD_CC_v5.2.1.pdffile — the instructions reference it as the primary rules source. - Click Save. Your gem is now available in the sidebar and ready to generate characters.
Tip: once your gem generates a character, copy its full output (including the
```json fence) and paste it into the Character Displayer page to get a readable sheet.
